Rooted in the Normandy Ecosystem

Based at the Innova’Up incubator in Colombelles, CardiaMetrics has found in Normandy a supportive environment to grow, combining proximity to Caen University Hospital with a regional ecosystem committed to health innovation.

A Shared Mission: Anticipating Decompensation

The article highlights the challenge our team was founded to address: heart failure decompensation is too often caught only once a patient is already in crisis. Our subcutaneous sensor is designed to give clinicians earlier, continuous, and actionable insight into cardiac function, with early clinical work already underway in collaboration with Caen University Hospital.

Building Momentum

We’re grateful to Caen Normandie Développement and to the broader Normandy health-tech community for their continued support as CardiaMetrics keeps building toward its clinical and regulatory milestones. Stay tuned for more updates.

CardiaMetrics was pleased to take part in Heart Failure 2026, the annual congress of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology, held this year in Barcelona.

For the first time, CardiaMetrics had the opportunity to welcome visitors at its own booth, located in the Future Frontiers in Heart Failure Hub. This dedicated space provided an ideal setting to present our vision, share our latest progress, and engage directly with clinicians, researchers, and stakeholders from the international heart failure community.

Bringing Remote Monitoring Innovation Closer to Clinical Practice

Heart Failure 2026 was a valuable opportunity to discuss one of the central challenges in heart failure care: how to move from fragmented follow-up to continuous, clinically meaningful monitoring.

Today, many patients living with heart failure are still monitored through limited approaches, such as weight tracking, questionnaires, or hospital visits when symptoms worsen. While these methods remain useful, they often fail to capture early physiological changes that could support timely clinical intervention.

At our booth, we presented how CardiaMetrics is working to address this gap by developing a non-invasive monitoring solution designed to transform physiological signals into actionable insights for heart failure management.

Strong Scientific and Clinical Engagement

Throughout the congress, the CardiaMetrics team had the opportunity to exchange with leading experts in heart failure, as well as cardiologists interested in the future of remote monitoring and digital health.

These discussions were particularly valuable because they focused not only on the technology itself, but also on the clinical relevance of the results and their potential role in future care pathways.

The feedback we received was encouraging. Many visitors recognized the importance of developing scalable, patient-friendly solutions capable of supporting earlier detection of clinical deterioration and helping clinicians make more informed decisions.

A Shared Need for Better Monitoring Solutions

One of the key insights from the congress was clear: the need for better heart failure monitoring is widely acknowledged.

As therapies continue to evolve and care pathways become more personalized, clinicians need reliable tools to better understand patient status over time. Remote monitoring should not simply generate more data; it must help transform data into meaningful information that can support clinical decisions.

This perspective is strongly aligned with CardiaMetrics’ mission: to provide clinically relevant insights that help bridge the gap between patient monitoring, therapeutic adjustment, and improved outcomes.

A Meaningful Step Forward for CardiaMetrics

Heart Failure 2026 marked an important moment for CardiaMetrics. Having a dedicated booth allowed us to present our work in a more structured and engaging way, demonstrate our progress, and strengthen our dialogue with the heart failure community.

The congress confirmed the growing interest in innovative monitoring approaches and reinforced the relevance of our work at the intersection of cardiovascular care, physiological signal analysis, and digital health.

Looking Ahead

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth, shared their questions, and contributed to meaningful discussions throughout the congress.

As CardiaMetrics continues to advance, we remain committed to developing scalable, clinically relevant monitoring solutions that support earlier intervention and bring heart failure care closer to the needs of patients and care teams.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and to sharing our next steps with the heart failure community.

While wearables generate large amounts of data, clinicians still struggle to translate these signals into actionable treatment decisions. Discussions at THT 2026 highlighted a growing shift toward pressure-based monitoring, clinically validated insights, and care models that enable earlier intervention and greater patient autonomy. Download the presentation

At the Technology and Heart Failure Therapeutics (THT) conference in Boston, CardiaMetrics presented its first scientific results and engaged with clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders working to transform heart failure management.

Beyond the scientific sessions, the discussions across the conference highlighted a clear shift in the field: remote monitoring is no longer only about collecting physiological data — it is about making that data clinically actionable.

The Limits of Data-Heavy Wearables

One session on Monday afternoon particularly resonated with us: Remote Monitoring in Heart Failure — implants, wearables and patient management.

A recurring theme from clinicians was straightforward: wearables are generating increasing volumes of data, but translating those signals into treatment decisions remains difficult.

Continuous monitoring offers valuable insights, yet many physicians remain cautious about relying on these signals to guide medication adjustments or clinical interventions. In heart failure care, where therapeutic decisions can have significant consequences, data alone is not enough — it must be reliable, interpretable, and clinically validated.

Artificial intelligence is often proposed as a way to bridge this gap by identifying meaningful patterns within large datasets. However, speakers emphasized that robust clinical validation of AI-driven insights remains limited, and significant work is still needed before these approaches can fully integrate into routine care.

Growing Interest in Pressure-Based Monitoring

Another strong signal emerging from the conference was the increasing focus on pressure-based monitoring as a way to detect congestion earlier and intervene before symptoms worsen.

Several experts compared this evolution to what happened in diabetes management: once reliable physiological monitoring became available, it enabled more proactive and structured disease management.

In heart failure, early detection of congestion could similarly help reduce hospitalizations and improve patient outcomes.

At the same time, healthcare systems are facing a structural challenge: the number of heart failure specialists remains limited, while the number of patients continues to grow.

This reality reinforces the need for monitoring tools that support simpler care pathways and greater patient autonomy, allowing patients to manage certain aspects of their condition under clear clinical protocols.

Beyond Sensors: Integrating Data Into Care Pathways

Across the ecosystem, many technologies are emerging — ranging from wearables to implantable devices — each attempting to capture different physiological signals.

Yet one challenge remains central: transforming physiological measurements into actionable guidance that fits into everyday clinical practice.

The discussions at THT repeatedly highlighted that successful remote monitoring solutions will likely combine multiple physiological inputs with well-defined care protocols that determine when and how to act on alerts.

Without this link between signals and clinical decision-making, even sophisticated monitoring technologies risk remaining underutilized.

A Turning Point for Heart Failure Monitoring

The conversations at THT 2026 reinforced a growing consensus across the field.

Remote monitoring in heart failure is entering a new phase — one that moves beyond data collection toward clinically actionable and scalable care models.

At CardiaMetrics, these discussions strongly resonate with the vision that drives our work: providing reliable physiological insights that can support earlier detection of congestion and more proactive patient management.

As heart failure prevalence continues to rise worldwide, innovations that translate physiological signals into meaningful clinical decisions will be essential to supporting clinicians, empowering patients, and improving long-term outcomes.

CardiaMetrics is proud to announce that our first scientific results will be presented at Technology and Heart Failure Therapeutics (THT) in Boston (Home Page | THT 2026), one of the world’s leading conferences dedicated to breakthrough technologies in heart failure care.

Our abstract, entitled:

“Cutaneous device and machine learning could estimate pulmonary capillary wedge pressure in patients with heart failure”

has been selected for presentation during:

HF Insight – First-in-Man / Early Feasibility Studies Abstracts Session III
📅 Wednesday, March 4
🕘 9:15 AM – 10:21 AM (ET)
📍 Room: Ensemble C-D | Level 2
🎤 Presentation by Rémi Sabatier at 10:10 AM

A Major Scientific Milestone

This presentation represents the first peer-reviewed scientific outcome from CardiaMetrics to be showcased on an international stage.

Being selected for THT, a best-in-class conference gathering global leaders in cardiovascular innovation, is a strong validation of our technology and scientific approach. It reflects growing recognition from the clinical and research community of our work in reconstructing intracardiac pressures using machine learning.

Advancing Low-Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring

Our study demonstrates that a low-invasive cutaneous device combined with advanced machine learning algorithms can estimate pulmonary capillary wedge pressure (PCWP), a critical hemodynamic parameter in the management of heart failure patients.

Accurate assessment of intracardiac pressure typically requires invasive procedures or heavily implantable sensors. Our approach aims to provide a scalable, data-driven alternative capable of supporting earlier detection of decompensation and more proactive disease management.

This research represents an important step toward bridging the gap between traditional remote monitoring solutions and low-implantable pressure sensors.

Built on Clinical Research with CHU de Caen

These results stem from the clinical study we initiated in collaboration with CHU de Caen. This early feasibility study laid the foundation for validating our technology.

The data generated through this collaboration enabled the development and validation of our machine learning models for reconstructing intracardiac pressure low-invasively.

Read previous article

Scientific Recognition of Our Machine Learning Approach

The acceptance of our abstract at THT underscores the scientific community’s recognition of our physiology-based machine learning methodology. Reconstructing intracardiac pressure from non-invasive signals represents a significant technological challenge — and a meaningful opportunity to transform heart failure management.

This milestone reflects the dedication of our expanding team, the strength of our clinical partnerships, and the continued trust of our investors and collaborators.

Looking Ahead

Presenting at THT Boston marks the beginning of CardiaMetrics’ international scientific visibility. We look forward to engaging with clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders to further advance innovation in scalable, low-invasive hemodynamic monitoring.

This achievement reinforces our mission: to redefine heart failure care through intelligent, accessible, and clinically validated remote monitoring solutions.
